Ahoy!!! Magnolia-licious DT

Happy Friday dear friends!

I am back again today with a Midway and Inspirational post for Magnolia-licious Store and Challenge Blog. It was my turn today to showcase another inspirational project, and because Shawn has some brand new awesome Magnolia Collections waiting for you to pick up, and one of them is a Nautical Collection, I decided to make a nautical themed card to share with you.

I just love everything with a nautical theme. In fact slowly, veeerryy slowly, I am organising some different decorations, some of which are cross-stitched, for a nautical themed bathroom at our Home. I love sea shells, sailor things etc. I had a blast doing this specific card, making my own sailing vessel for our Tilda.

I used one of the older stamps for my project, but you can check some cool 2017 Magnolia nautical stamps here at the Magnolia Stamp Store.

Aren't those Maja papers cool? I love this collection, which I won from one of the challenges. Thank you Maja for such lovely cute papers. And have you seen Pion's Legends of the Sea collection?! ... these too are super yummy!

I distressed all edges of the boat and the background papers with the scissors. I embellished my card with cheese cloth, sea shell, stars, square rhinestones and some other sea related objects. The most time consuming work was doing the boat, but it was worth it.

Tilda was coloured with Distress re-inkers, and then I fussy cut her together with the rope ladder, with which she is climbing to fix something on the boat :)

A closer look at the chain with which the anchor is being held, and the lovely Maja papers. I just love these cuties!

I hope you like this project, and that you'll join us for our Magnolia-licious Challenge, which you can find HERE. Do bot forget that by participating, you are not only in chance to win a $20 Magnolia-licious gift certificate, but you can also be chosen to be a Guest Designer :)

  6. Hi Rosette!
I am very sorry, but this card can not be considered in the draw of the winners at All About Magnolia. It seems that you forgot to link the AAM blog in this post. It is just a mistake, since you always do it otherwise. But so are the rules!

But you can put the link still later and your beautiful card again at AAM link.
    Hope you understand!
