Dance the Night away!

Hi there!


I am here to share with you an inspirational post which I did for the awesome Magnolia-licious Store! Shawn sent me some Maja papers from the Celebration Collection, and other beautiful goodies (which you will see here) and there are awesome! These inspired me to create a vintage gift bag with the theme Have a Ball - dance the night away! See for yourself...

I have used quite a lot of dies, lace and pieces here, and those which you can find at the Store will be listed here, further down.

I really fell in love with this couple dancing so romantically :) I'm very soft at heart, lol. And look at that awesome rose lace.. isn't it beautiful? I did not wish to use it to say the truth, but my work is to promote the Store, and to do that I need to use the products, right? :)

I also did some foamiran blue flowers, to which I added a spray of white flowers and white leaves... Did you try out doing your own flowers yet? If not, what are you waiting for? They are easy to do, a bit time consuming, but very worth it.

 In the following photo you can see another detail, the Magnolia wedding lace DooHickey die cut I added...  its intricate detail goes very well with this bag's style, and I love how it came out! I inked its edges with Antique Linen and some dashes of Walnut Stain inks to take off the stark white of the cardstock. .

Here goes the sentiment I chose to add to the bag, a "Have a Ball" ticket, which I run through my Big Shot with the Rox Stamp border die to create those holes, and then I also inked it up with the same 

distress inks. I also cut the same border on the main Celebration paper... really love the effect it gives! 

Some more details.. this time it's the bottom part of the bag - with the film strip ribbon, organza bow and vintage button. Oh how I loved doing this bag :) I think it will be very difficult to give this away :) You can notice what is written on the bottom of the paper.. Dance the night away... shall you?

Some Magnolia DT Inspiration - And News of a great Sale for this week!

Hi dear blogging friends!

Back again after some weeks MIA cause of some harsh flu that decided to batter my energy and mojo levels. Spring is in the air, but today I would like to share with you a mini project that I was working on before this naughty flu knocked me out!! It is a "Christmas project"... and you say Christmas??? Now??

Yeah... it takes more than a month, usually almost a month and a half for things to reach my destination, so I get behind on seasonal projects which include Christmas, Easter etc. But who cares, really? :) Maggies are cute all year through, and some Christmas cheer is always accepted, no? :)

For this cute sleigh, filled with all-smiles and delicious Christmas fathers I added this sweet Magnolia  stamp which is called Tilda with Star from the Christmas Party '17 Collection. I coloured this image using both Copic markers and Prismacolour pencils.

Hi sweetest Blogging friends!

I am a bit late posting this, but the last two days have been crazy and I did not manage to stretch my energy to succeed in writing and posting this before.

February has started, therefore it is tome for another challenge at Magnolia-licious, and this time we have out usual super easy "Anything Goes" but with an option of Valentine's!


My DT friends have made some super inspirational cards, go and check them out HERE, and do consider to join in the fun!

Now unto the details of my card:

I used CP 17 - Divine Angel Tilda, which you could find in Shawn's Store by clicking on the stamp's name itself. I coloured this image using Distress reinkers, and then I added some final touches with Prismacolours and white gel pen.

I used a mixture of Magnolia papers, some half pearls  and pink heart shaped rhinestones for some bling.

You may also notice that her wings and halo are covered with Diamonds and stardust Stickles. They really make her pop! :)

Arounf the image I also stamped some postage round stamps, using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and I also added a large red heart embellishment, backed with a black feather.

Quite a romantic feel to this card, but I didn't want to make it exclusively a Valentine's card, as then I know that it won't be used! :) That is why I chose the sentiment "Sending Hugs".

Hi dearest crafting friends!

I hope you had a wonderful week and that you are geared up for the weekend! I really need some crafting time as I had a tough week and I did not have the time or energy to pick up my colours, so I'm in withdrawal now!! :D

A couple of weeks ago I finished this card with Magnolia Get well Collection. It is one of my favourites right now, I really loved this collection!

The stamp used is : Tilda with Bunny Slippers (From the GW17 Collection), Heart Medicine Doo Hickey die(from the same collection). Isn't it cool?! 

Also available at the Store are the Sofiero Maja Design papers and charms.

For two of the flowers I used white foamiran, white stamens and a styrofoam flower centre covered with silver glitter. 

I coloured the image using Distress inks, and also used twine, lace, paper doily, flowers cardboard heart with gesso and pearl.

I coloured the image using Distress reinkers, although I enjoy also pencils and Copics, I just love my Ranger Inks.

Here you can see the twine and the charm, together with the sweetest medicine and the cardboard heart. I just love the look of lace with Maja papers!

A close up of the foamiran flowers, paper flower and the vintage button added. The leaves are cut by using a punch I had for quite some years now.

I also added some flu stuff as a background to this card :) You can catch my Beechams Cold and Flu, a thermometer and some hand sanitizer there as well :) I needed all of these some weeks ago, plus the Halls mints.

New Magnolia-cious challenge and Giveaway!

Today marks the first challenge of Magnolia-licious challenge blog for 2018, and if you have already come on my blog yesterday, you will know that I have something special going on for you here right now.

Yesterday I shared an easel card I did as my inspirational card for Magnolia-licious. Today, I have a gift box which I did to match with this same card. I did this for the same reason that this gift box forms part of the surprise - therefore I could not make the full reveal yesterday. So today is the Day!!

This is the gift box that together with yesterday's card can be yours to: (1) either keep for yourself, or (2) for you to give away as a gift - you choose!! :D 

This is the set that I'm talking about, and I'm sure that you all love to give away some hand crafted gifts. 

But that is not all! The giveaway consist of this set together a with a  Magnolia stamp and some crafting goodies for you. as I said both the card and the box will also be yours (I shall not write anything in the card so that you can use it if you want to.

The image which I used for this box is Bon Voyage Tilda (2010), and I used the same and matching Magnolia papers from the card. I also added a small bouquet of paper flowers, some sea shells, pearls, ribbon and some Tim Holtz Ephemera. To also enhance the matching factor, I also used from My DooHickey Vol.10 the heart die to include another two hearts - just like in the card. The person who wins this cutie will find some goodies in it! ;) shhh!!

I hope this year started well for all of you, and that you are finding some time and motivation to do that thing that you love most.

We at Magnolia-licious had a few days of break from DT duties, which worked good for me so that I could get a bit ahead - very much not like I usually do, as I have usually finish my projects in the last days which I would normally need them! :) Anyway, this easel card which I sharing with you for inspiration is my first card for 2018.

I really enjoyed myself doing it, let's say that the products from Magnolia-licious Store really inspire me to play! :D

I also added some Foamiran flowers to the easel card. For these I used red and light pink foamiran from the large selection of colours which Shawn carries in the Store, and black and white stamens.

From my stash I also added some lace, a doily and that ticket sentiment, together with some paper flowers and leaves. Tilda was coloured by Prismacolour Pencils - yes Santa was very good to me this year! I was literally in tears when I opened my gift!! :)

For the inside I stamped the large Magnolia  mushroom on a die-cut label and coloured it with pencils as well. I forgot what collection this was from, but it went well with the paper, so I loved it.

As you can see, the Store carries a lot of crafting goodies, and Shawn is adding more items. Have you seen the awesome berries, and the chipboard pieces? They look awesome!!

A little Snowie just for you...

I hope you are doing well, and that you are getting prepared for Christmas, as it IS round the corner now! I am here to share with you another card, to celebrate a brand new fabulous challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog ! This month we had a wonderful number of entries, 50 of them wonderful creations!! Thank you for sharing with us your awesome talent!

Now enough words... here is my take for this month's challenge, a shaker card - my first of this sort. I had an amazing time creating it, although it was very time consuming  :) Nonetheless, I really loved doing it, especially the little reindeer scene - all created with Distress Inks (except the reindeer which is a die cut).

My Mr Snowie (from the So Jolly So Snowy 2009 Collection) was coloured with Distress inks and then I added a little amount of detail using watercolour pencils. On the other hand, the paper I used is from Dovecraft Winter Wonderland pack - quite an old pack, but I like many of its papers. I just love the shades of blue for Christmas, I seldom use the traditional Christmas colours anymore :D

Check out the details and the poinsettia and snowflake arrangement which I created. Lots and lots of glitter on this card. I can vouch that it is amazingly blingy :)

Tilda in Spring Rain

Hello dear crafters!

I am back with to share with you a Magnolia card which reflects the rainy weather we had for the last couple of days here! Today the sun has come out again, but we had some serious dull and wet weather which I REALLY love!! :)

Here is Tilda in Spring Rain from the 2009 Chasing Butterflies Colection. I opted for soft Copic colouring this time, and kept it as clean as possible - for me it IS very clean! lol

Remember that at Magnolia-licious you can still find some cute stamps from the older collections, and if you are looking for something specific, do not hesitate to use the email provided, or the FB business page (found here) to contact Shawn - I am sure he will do anything to help you get your goodies!


For this card I used a cute Sugar Pea Sentiment, which I really love. I also used a couple of dies from the Doo Hickey Vol.10 set - I love dies, you can use them in very different ways. If you'd like some for yourself - you know... Christmas is coming... you can also check the Store - there are a lot of lovely things for whatever is anyone's tastes! The cute large butterfly was a gift from my dear friend Suzi (thank you sweet!) and I also added some lightly coloured dew drops, as if they are drops of water. There is a lot of dimension going on, you can see that in the next photo.

I wish I had some glossy accent to put on Tilda's raincoat, umbrella and boots, but the one I had from quite long ago (it was called Crystal Lacquer) has become too thick to control properly.

She's a busy girl indeed! Yes, I'm talking about Tilda - this cutie is already prepared for giving this beautiful gift to her bestie - and she's ready to go and give it to her even if it has snowed! 😊

Alright - apart from the story I created from this card -  we at Magnolia-licious are presenting a brand new challenge for the month of November - This is challenge #15 - and this time we have an Anything Goes challenge with the option of Christmas.

This time I went for some blues, browns and lots of shimmer for my card. I actually like how this turned out, with some snowy hills and couple of reindeers passing by! :)

Tilda is coloured with Distress inks, and I fussy cut her to add dimension to the scene, using near and far perspective.

 As for embellishments I added some small ponsiettas and some other coordinating flowers with some pearls as centres. I also added some cheese cloth and a doily behind the scene, and a "let ti snow" sentiment on top of a chipboard tree - which is also dressed with gesso, and some glitter for a shimmery effect. Some lace on the card was a must, so I just went with it as I LOVE lace.
