Dance the Night away!

Hi there!

I am here to share with you an inspirational post which I did for the awesome Magnolia-licious Store! Shawn sent me some Maja papers from the Celebration Collection, and other beautiful goodies (which you will see here) and there are awesome! These inspired me to create a vintage gift bag with the theme Have a Ball - dance the night away! See for yourself...

I have used quite a lot of dies, lace and pieces here, and those which you can find at the Store will be listed here, further down.

I really fell in love with this couple dancing so romantically :) I'm very soft at heart, lol. And look at that awesome rose lace.. isn't it beautiful? I did not wish to use it to say the truth, but my work is to promote the Store, and to do that I need to use the products, right? :)

I also did some foamiran blue flowers, to which I added a spray of white flowers and white leaves... Did you try out doing your own flowers yet? If not, what are you waiting for? They are easy to do, a bit time consuming, but very worth it.

In the following photo you can see another detail, the Magnolia wedding lace DooHickey die cut I added...  its intricate detail goes very well with this bag's style, and I love how it came out! I inked its edges with Antique Linen and some dashes of Walnut Stain inks to take off the stark white of the cardstock. .

Here goes the sentiment I chose to add to the bag, a "Have a Ball" ticket, which I run through my Big Shot with the Rox Stamp border die to create those holes, and then I also inked it up with the same
distress inks. I also cut the same border on the main Celebration paper... really love the effect it gives!

Some more details.. this time it's the bottom part of the bag - with the film strip ribbon, organza bow and vintage button. Oh how I loved doing this bag :) I think it will be very difficult to give this away :) You can notice what is written on the bottom of the paper.. Dance the night away... shall you?

Now to the list of products used on this project which you can purchase from Magnolia-licious. You will be provided with direct links, just click on the product and voila!

Bee Mine!

Hope you're having a marvellous week!

Here I am again to share with you a small but cute inspirational DT project I did with one of Mo's gorgeous images. This image is called Bee Mine, and you can purchase it, with lots of other fun digital images here.

This time I went with a bottle tag, and I really liked how it turned out! Isn't it cute? This image is one of the most loved right now, and you can see why... her cute expression says it all!! I also used orange - lots of it, and this means I went out of my comfort zone with this one. I do not use yellow and orange often, lol, but here it is! :) And I love it!

I teamed her up with some Magnolia dies from the My DooHickey kit no.10 (Buzz Buzz)  that include a bee hive, a cute bee, and some other fun stuff! I hope you love it, and that you go and snatch her up at Mo's Digital Pencil! She's too fun!! The sentiment comes with the image, but I decided to print it separately and divide it into two small other "tags". Then a couple of flowers, swirls, and rhinestones to finish her up!

Wishing you lots and lots of happy moments! And lots of Love!

Many blessings

Rosette

Get well Soon....

Hi dearest crafting friends!

I hope you had a wonderful week and that you are geared up for the weekend! I really need some crafting time as I had a tough week and I did not have the time or energy to pick up my colours, so I'm in withdrawal now!! :D

A couple of weeks ago I finished this card with Magnolia Get well Collection. It is one of my favourites right now, I really loved this collection!

You can find these awesome products at Magnolia-licious Store, by clicking on the names of the products linked below:

The stamp used is : Tilda with Bunny Slippers (From the GW17 Collection), Heart Medicine Doo Hickey die(from the same collection). Isn't it cool?!

Also available at the Store are the Sofiero Maja Design papers and charms.

For two of the flowers I used white foamiran, white stamens and a styrofoam flower centre covered with silver glitter.

I coloured the image using Distress inks, and also used twine, lace, paper doily, flowers cardboard heart with gesso and pearl.

I coloured the image using Distress reinkers, although I enjoy also pencils and Copics, I just love my Ranger Inks.

Here you can see the twine and the charm, together with the sweetest medicine and the cardboard heart. I just love the look of lace with Maja papers!

A close up of the foamiran flowers, paper flower and the vintage button added. The leaves are cut by using a punch I had for quite some years now.

I also added some flu stuff as a background to this card :) You can catch my Beechams Cold and Flu, a thermometer and some hand sanitizer there as well :) I needed all of these some weeks ago, plus the Halls mints.

I hope you loved the card, and that you get to play with some of this cool stuff yourself! I wish I had all day to create!! ) lol

Just because I care...

Hello there!!

I hope this year started well for all of you, and that you are finding some time and motivation to do that thing that you love most.

💚💚💚

We at Magnolia-licious had a few days of break from DT duties, which worked good for me so that I could get a bit ahead - very much not like I usually do, as I have usually finish my projects in the last days which I would normally need them! :) Anyway, this easel card which I sharing with you for inspiration is my first card for 2018.

I really enjoyed myself doing it, let's say that the products from Magnolia-licious Store really inspire me to play! :D

💚💚💚

Below you will see the list of products I have used, let me know what you think of it.

This New Year put me in the mood of doing a little game... let me see....

Tomorrow we have the start of a new challenge at Magnolia-licious, and in collaboration with Shawn and the team, I will be organising a giveaway for all of you amazing crafters. So... those of you who as from today, 8th January till the 15th, purchase crafting goodies from Magnolia-licious Store will get this card from me... and some small surprises with it?! :D The FULL REVEAL of the giveaway will be shown TOMORROW, here on this blog.

So come back tomorrow and in the coming days and let me know that you have purchased from the STORE. After checking out  the purchase with Shawn (the owner) I will draw a lucky winner! :D (Only those comments with a purchase will be eligible to win).

The winner will be announced here on the 16th January.

💚💚💚

Now what did I use for this card:

Stamp: Heavenly Tilda from the Aspen Holidays (2016) Collection

Paper: Magnolia paper

Lots of Magnolia dies: (1) My DooHickey Box Kit vol.10 (using the heart die from this kit)
(2) Magnolia Doo Hickey die ST17 - Tree Stump
(3) Vintage dooHickey die 17 - Small Square
(4) Parsley and Rocket Salad die

💚💚💚

I also added some Foamiran flowers to the easel card. For these I used red and light pink foamiran from the large selection of colours which Shawn carries in the Store, and black and white stamens.

💚💚💚

From my stash I also added some lace, a doily and that ticket sentiment, together with some paper flowers and leaves. Tilda was coloured by Prismacolour Pencils - yes Santa was very good to me this year! I was literally in tears when I opened my gift!! :)

For the inside I stamped the large Magnolia  mushroom on a die-cut label and coloured it with pencils as well. I forgot what collection this was from, but it went well with the paper, so I loved it.

💚💚💚

As you can see, the Store carries a lot of crafting goodies, and Shawn is adding more items. Have you seen the awesome berries, and the chipboard pieces? They look awesome!!

I shall leave you for now, but I do hope to hear from you. I LOVE how this card turned out, and I would really like to give it to someone who appreciates it! I will not we writing on the inside, so that the person who wins it, can use it, or keep it... whatever you choose! :) Let me know when you purchase, and you'll be in a chance to receive it at home. Anyone can enter, I will ship worldwide.

💚💚💚

Many Blessings
Rosette

Being thankful at this time of the Year!

Hello my sweet crafty friends :)

Christmas has come, and the air is full of festive joy and cheer! I hope each one is doing well and that you are comfortable with all that is going on around you. Big hugs to those of you who find this time of year difficult for a reason or other xxx

Today I'm sharing with you a Thank you card which I did for Magnolia-cious Store.

The papers which I used for this card is Blueberry Hill by Papermania, and the smaller pieces are from my scrap folder. But the main focus of the card are the Foamiran flowers which I created with the awesome products from the Store. You will find direct links to these at the bottom of this post for you to be easy to find them.

The sentiment is a clear stamp which a friend of mine had sent me. I inked it with Staz On to get a stark clear image, and I coloured the flowers on the sentiment stamp using Copics. I also created quite some dimension throughout the layers, as you can see from this photo below.

Isn't just awesome how much teal and pink together, I personally think they do make a wonderful combination! Now onto the flowers...

I inked the whire foamiran with Peacock Feathers Distress inks using the Distress ink tools. Unfortunately I also inked almost all my fingers, and as the ink pad was still practically new (at least I had this thought!) the ink was quite strong and it took me two days to get it off my fingers!! I was really a sight for sore eyes, and next morning I had to receive Communion during mass directly onto my tongue, as I had to hide my hands all through the mass!!! :D

I tried a list of products to take it off, nothing seemed to work! Now I made a promise to myself to use gloves when I work with Distress ink!!!! :D lol

I also added white stamens to the larger flowers and styrofoam centres to the smaller. But as you can see I covered these with craft glue and silver glitter before using them, leaving them to dry overnight.

If you have never tried foamiran before, know that you are missing a lot of fun!! It surely takes some time to make multiple flowers, but I think it is VERY worth every minute. I am using the hour or so we spend together in the evening, watching TV or just chilling while I cut or ink my flowers, or do some colouring.

Here is the direct link to these marvellous products, which Shawn has. Also check out the entire Store and there are some new things like Chipboard etc !!! Yikes... which really need some love :)

I really wish you all the very best, you and your loved ones!!! Sending you all cyber hugs, may the love and peace of Jesus shower you all and keep you safe and loved! xxxxx

Many Blessings

A Special Gift - A Foamiran project for Magnolia-licious

Hi! I hope you're having a wonderful start of the week, and that you have no Monday blues after the weekend :)

Here i am again to share with you a sweet and special gift, which incorporates also some Foamiran flowers. We had a new addition to our Community of Sisters some weeks ago, and as part of the Welcoming Gift, I decided to make this lovely set, based on blue shades when it comes to colour.

There is this lovely Bible verse hand made cushion (which I did not do myself, but another lady did it and was selling these cushions to raise money for charity), a pair of matching tea light candle holders, and this scented blue (Ocean smell) candle in a jar, which one can purchase from candle shops and Supermarkets etc.

I peeled off its cover and decorated it with some lovely crafty stuff. I really had fun doing it, and I think I will alter some more of these candle jars in the future.

On the cute blue ribbon with hearts I added these two charms - a cross and a sandal. The reason why I specifically chose these two is to signify the beginning of the journey which the person chose to start- the one that follows the Lord by becoming more and more like Him through the Vocation of Religious Life.

As you can notice, I also added a blue and a yellow foamiran flower, which seem to have become part of my projects at the moment.

For these gorgeous flowers I have used sky blue and yellow foamiran. Stamens used:

(1) white (001) and gold (034) for the blue flower.

(2) White (001) and light blue (021) stamens for the yellow ones.

Obviously all these products and much much more can be found at Magnolia-licious Store. And DO GO and check out, both the Store and our CHALLENGE BLOG, as there is a fantastic offer and giveaway right at this moment!

Cheers,
Rosette

Peggy - Mo's DT

Hi again dear awesome crafty friends!!!

I am back with another card, this time showcasing one of Maurie Manning's awesome digi stamps. This cute girl's name is Peggy, and she can be found HERE.

It was a delight to colour her, and had lots of fun creating dimension and a background. I have coloured her with Copics, and matched her with a paper which has a lot of small hearts. It inspired me to use this one because of the heart which Peggy has on her top.

I also added some fun embellishments, including this wooden butterfly, on which I stuck some rhinestones. Added to that, some film strip ribbon, paper and foamiran flowers and some Stickles made sure that the card is girly enough! :)

I hope that you get to visit Mo's Store and check out the fun stamps you can find there! I am always amazed at what she can do with some digital stuff!! Now I'm off to rest, it's night here :) And a thunderstorm is fast approaching! Wohooo!!!

Many blessings dears, and please let me know what you think of this card. have an awesome day/night!

Altered Cardboard Gift Box - Magnolia-licious DT

Hi everyone!

Rosette here, back with another creation, which I had to publish last Tuesday!! What a week!!!

This time I altered a cardboard box into a beautiful gift box. I really love the outcome!! I hope you enjoy it and get inspired as well! The mail red (and hint of black) flower is a handmade foamiran flower. This foamiran is really addictive, and I find myself trying to create new flowers using different colours and combinations.

I used some papers from my stash for this one. I chose some light coloured with classic faded designs... a little vintage-y detail does no harm :)

I also decorated the sides and the inside of the gift box to match.

I really enjoyed working on this box... hopefully it won't be my last. I also added some lace, some bling, a ticket and a bouquet of flowers.

The leaf is also made of green foamiran. I REALLY hope that you try this awesome material for yourself. Magnolia- licious is offering some starter kits, and is always increasing the range of different colours, stamens, styrofoam centres, etc. Go and check it out for yourself HERE!

Finally a close up of the foamiran flower. As you can see, I used red foamiran, and subtly added some black oil pastel at the tip for some contrast. I added white and black stamens for a striking effect. I like how it gives that special feel in the bouquet of flowers! Do try some yourself! I cut out these flowers out of two different sized punches which I had.

Wishing you an awesome weekend! Many blessings and hope to hear from you!
