Bee Mine!

Hope you're having a marvellous week!

Here I am again to share with you a small but cute inspirational DT project I did with one of Mo's gorgeous images. This image is called Bee Mine, and you can purchase it, with lots of other fun digital images here.

This time I went with a bottle tag, and I really liked how it turned out! Isn't it cute? This image is one of the most loved right now, and you can see why... her cute expression says it all!! I also used orange - lots of it, and this means I went out of my comfort zone with this one. I do not use yellow and orange often, lol, but here it is! :) And I love it!

I teamed her up with some Magnolia dies from the My DooHickey kit no.10 (Buzz Buzz)  that include a bee hive, a cute bee, and some other fun stuff! I hope you love it, and that you go and snatch her up at Mo's Digital Pencil! She's too fun!! The sentiment comes with the image, but I decided to print it separately and divide it into two small other "tags". Then a couple of flowers, swirls, and rhinestones to finish her up!

Wishing you lots and lots of happy moments! And lots of Love!

Many blessings

Rosette

Soon...

Hello my dear friends!!

I hope you are enjoying this wonderful Christ-mas Season. I just love the lovely Christmas music, the preparations, the cooking, the fun and the meaningful decorations. It beings a wonderful feeling in the air! :)

Today I am sharing with you a card I did with one of the new Digital images at Mo's Digital Pencil stamps. It is called "Soon", and you can find it HERE, and when you purchase it you get both the image and the sentiment; which I love!

The cute little kid is  supposedly waiting for snow, but I gave it my own interpretation :) For me, he is looking at the bright stars, waiting for The Star - the Christmas star which shows that Jesus is born to save us :)

I got inspired by Vicky in this You Tube video, and worked on the textured sky using Acrylics, Acrylic Matte Medium and some Stencilling for the stars. Finally I added some gesso droplets for the snow effect.

I also added some twine, white organza ribbon and beige lace. Finally I embellished using coloured rhinestones and a gold button. I hope you like it, and that it inspired you to give this little cutie your interpretation.

Wishing you the very best!! I'll be back on Friday to share something else with you xxx Stay tuned!!

Peggy - Mo's DT

Hi again dear awesome crafty friends!!!

I am back with another card, this time showcasing one of Maurie Manning's awesome digi stamps. This cute girl's name is Peggy, and she can be found HERE.

It was a delight to colour her, and had lots of fun creating dimension and a background. I have coloured her with Copics, and matched her with a paper which has a lot of small hearts. It inspired me to use this one because of the heart which Peggy has on her top.

I also added some fun embellishments, including this wooden butterfly, on which I stuck some rhinestones. Added to that, some film strip ribbon, paper and foamiran flowers and some Stickles made sure that the card is girly enough! :)

I hope that you get to visit Mo's Store and check out the fun stamps you can find there! I am always amazed at what she can do with some digital stuff!! Now I'm off to rest, it's night here :) And a thunderstorm is fast approaching! Wohooo!!!

Many blessings dears, and please let me know what you think of this card. have an awesome day/night!

Life is like a balloon

Hi dearest crafting buddies!

It's been a while since I found the time to post something here. I am having some very busy weeks right now. But today let me share with you a card I did for Mo's challenge of the month - the good news is that you are still in time to join us in Mo's challenge on Facebook.

This month Lou challenged to use this cool image called "Life is like a balloon", one of the many wonderful images you can find at Mo's Store.

I played with this image and had some fun with making a hand cut cloud template. I created the clouds by using Stormy Sky distress ink. I like the outcome! :)
I hope you like it, and that you join us in the fun. The challenge closes on October 2nd. We look forward for some fresh ideas to learn from each other.

I will be back very soon with other projects to share. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week. Finally autumn is kicking in here, and I' very happy that finally the scorching  heat is over.

Peace!

Let's Chill! Christmas is on the Way! Mo's DT post

Hi there lovely peeps!!

A short post to share with you a Christmas card I made by merging two fabulous stamps which you can find at Mo's Store: Chill, and Snowy House.

The result is the following card, which I really had lots of fun doing!

Actually in the Background scene there is also a cute house, but the way I merged the two stamps resulted in the house being hidden behind the cute girl. But I was happy all the same with the snowy scene, and I added some snow myself.

I also made a Stickles party, making the girl quite shiny :) I love the effect it gave to the card.

Ingredients used:

Paper: Basic Grey Wassail Paper pad
Red cardstock and gold paper
Embellishments: Paper ponsietta flowers, gold ribbon and wooden boots
For the snow effect I used Gesso

Here you can observe more the shiny effect. I hope you like it, let me know what you think, I just loooove your comments and to know that you were here.

Mo's Dream Team Post - August Challenge

Hi everyone!!

I hope you are getting through this week brilliantly.. Here in Malta it's tooooo hot for my liking, but we're still alive and kicking, so thank God for that :)

I wanted to share with you that it's time for a new challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenges over on Facebook.  (please click on the red writing to find us there!) and this month our super-talented Lou designed a wonderful sketch for us to follow. It is very easy to follow and play with so please, come and join the fun!!

💖💖💖

The image I chose for a baby girl card is called "Shiny and New", and you can find it in digital form at Mo's Store HERE.

I love this image, it's so cool to colour, and some Stardust Stickles matched perfectly with the wording that the baby is holding.

Here in this photo the shine is more evident... and the "Baby" die cut, which I mounted at the bottom of the card takes the focus :) I loved doing this card for one of  the Sisters in my community. She has a family member who has just had a cute baby girl, so we need to celebrate! :)

I did not want to overload the card with embellishments, cause the image is too cute - I wanted it to remain the main attraction, but one can't leave a girly card without some lace, pearls and flowers, huh?!

I hope you like it, and that you come and join us on Facebook.

Challenges for this cute little fella:

Southern Girls - Flower Power -Team Trace

Wishing you heaps of good things xx

Mo's DT Blog Hop - A special Surprise Hop for Mo's Birthday!

Hi everyone!!!

Today we are doing a Surprise Birthday Blog hop in honour of Mo's Birthday 🎉  to wish her the very best.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mo!!!!!

The image we are featuring today is Mo's favourite: "Look, Ma!", the boy version, and you can find this digital stamp on mo's Store HERE .

If you are following the hop's order, you should have arrived from Julie's Blog  If you just happened to visit me first, you can start from the beginning of the hop from Debby's Blog .

Now about the card...

Seeing that this particular image is done with the pencil technique, I decided to do some free hand doodling myself, adding a "scene" behind the image. To colour my scene, I used watercolour pencils, to add a safe road where this little cute kiddo can learn to ride his bike without the training wheels :)

I used some Maja "Life by the Sea" papers, as some of the papers are awesome for male cards, with  the blue shades and patterns. I also paper pieced the boy's zip up with one of the papers as well.

But as you can see, I let the stamp take the main focus, adding only some ribbon, and some stars to the card. I hope that you like it, and that you continue to hop around, seeing what my amazing Dream Team mates have created with this cutie!

The sentiment was a free digi from Create with TLC... I immediately wanted to pair it with this stamp.
To continue hopping, you can now go to Kaly's Blog, I am sure that she also has a wonderful creation to share with you :)

Since you can't have a hop without prizes and because its a Birthday hop we have 3 prizes of $5 so you can buy Mo's Favourite image too.
To be in with a chance to win all you have to do comment on the team's Blog Hop post as you
Hop Skip Jump along

And to dearest Mo.... wishing you an AWESOME Birthday dear!!! I hope that you are specially Blessed, today and always xxx Big hugs sent your way, and enjoy your day!!!

Hello everyone!!

Just a quickie post today to let you know that it's time for another Mo's Digital Pencil challenge :)
And for some inspiration and encouragement for you to participate, I decided to make a Christmas tag today!

💚💚💚

This tag features the awesome stamp Ragged Winnie, and I used the pre-coloured version, available HERE to show you how awesome it looks. It is fab if you are in a hurry to complete a card, tag or anything for that special person. In fact Mo has two versions of this one: a pre-coloured and a normal outlined stamp for you to colour or paper-piece according to your liking.

I created the snow effect using Gesso. I left it as raw as I could, to make it a bit natural looking, giving the snow a small amount of diamond sparkle with Stickles.

Oh how I wish we had some cool and refreshing wind these days here in Malta. Some fun fact about this small island in the heart of the Mediterranean - it NEVER snows here!!! :)  For some it might be good news, but I do wish it does sometimes. We get only hail. Bye for now xxx

Sending you Hugs, and Flowers

Hi! Me again today, but this time to share with you a card I did for Mo's Digital Pencil DT.

This features the fabulous image Best of the Bunch, a stamp you can instantly purchase from the online Store. This cutie really melts your heart; I fell in love with the image as soon as I saw it on Mo's FB page.

I coloured the image using Copic markers, and teamed the image with some beautiful Marianne Design papers "Country Style". I think the papers' lovely colours make the stunning image pop out more.

I used some dies and punches to give the card a particular touch, and I honestly love the final  result.

Supplies used:

Dies: Spellbinders, Nellie Snellen
Other supplies: border punch, lace, paper flowers, self-adhesive flat baked pearls, bling, round sentiments stamp, glossy accents on the girl's boots

Distress ink Worn Lipstick was used to distress many of the layers' edges.

I hope that at your part of the world it is less hot that we are here! The fact that Malta is a tiny island, it gets quite humid and hot every summer. But this month, the temperatures are more than 5 degrees higher than June's normal temperature levels.

Tomorrow it will feel like 40 degrees and over, and UV is 11+. I wish I could have a remote control to make summer fast forward :) I know many people love summer, but I cannot count myself with this group, sorry!! :)

And of course, this is the inside of my card. That's all for today from me!

Challenges:

Deep Ocean Challenge - lots of layers

Crafty Sentiments  - Anything goes

Sweet Stampers Challenge  - Dies or Punches

Wish you all well, my dear ones

Blessings

Baby Fairy Bee

Hi again sweet crafting friends!!

Another creation from me today, and this time it is a card. It showcases Mo's Digital Pencil's lovely stamp by the name of Baby Fairy Bee - a cute little fairy with a bee costume. Isn't she lovely?! :) I decided to give a go to the version with the curly hair, as Mo has two different versions of this cutie, which you can find HERE.

And if you did not realise yet, Mo is have a super Summer Sale on ALL her stamps right now, so if you had some (or a lot) on your bucket list, now is the perfect time to adopt those babes!

💛💛💛

Isn't she cute?

As you can see I used quite a lot of Magnolia Doo Hickey dies from the Vol 10. set, which fit perfectly with this digi stamp :)

I also used the die to lightly stamp some honeycomb shapes around the image.

I also matched an old Basic grey paper I had which had a couple of bees on it. As soon as I decided to use this image, I remember I had a piece of this 12x12 sheet lying somewhere, and I did not stop till I found it :)
💛💛💛

💛💛💛

💛💛💛

💛💛💛

This is the inside of the card. I used a Tim Holtz die to create the honey comb effect also on the inside.

I hope you enjoyed this card, and I really, really hope that I brought a smile to your face with this cute fairy. I am virtually sending her to you to bring some positive vibes your way  ðŸ’–

💛💛💛

Baby with giraffe - Mo's DT

Hello my dear friends! I have another card to share with you today, and this time it is another baby card made with one of Mo's cute digital stamps.

I just loooove these cuties and they are so natural to colour, and bring a lot of sweet memories too.

I used Copics to colour this babe. Do you agree that this baby looks so natural and cute? We have lots of kids which are at that age in our care, and it's a blessing to watch them make progress and learn new skills!

This is Baby with Giraffe image, and you can instantly purchase it in Mo's Store by clicking here

I created the sentiment by using some dies form Magnolia Doo Hickey Vol 10, I distressed the images with Walnut Stain Distress ink and added some letters and a "boy" button. I liked how it turned out, and these dies are wonderful for those boy/men cards where you need something cute but not girly :)

Thank you for stopping by to see my new creation. At least between hospital visits and other priorities, I unwind a bit form all the emotions and the draining experience by creating a new card.

Challenges I'll be entering with this card are:

Stampavie and More  #287 - Man or boy

Deep Ocean Challenge #155 - Furry/Feathered Friends

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #92 - Four or more legs

Sweet Stampers #7 - Dots or Stripes

Big hugs and blessings xxx
