A sunny day at the Farm

hi beautiful peeps! I hope you are having a wonderful week, and that the temperatures at your side of the world are being more merciful than ours at the moment!!

Today I'd like to share with you a card I did for Magnolia-licious Store using Farmer Tilda, which you can find HERE with the rest of the Magnolia Collections (even the super cute country Girl collection as well as the "Yay, it's your Birthday" stamps and dies which Magnolia has just released).

On this card I used some of the awesome products one can find tin the Store, you will find direct links in this post, for that little "me-reward-I need that!" which we crafters like so much!

Tilda is coloured in distress reinkers, and when it was dry, I had some fun with my white gel pen, doing various accents for the image to pop out more.

Products used in the card:

Paper: Magnolia, from past collections

Stamps: Farmer Tilda, postal round stamp, Stempelglede for the edge grunge designs, Sugar Pea Designs for the sentiments on the tags

Magnolia and other paper flowers, lace, pearls and rhinestones, pin and beads

From Magnolia-licious Store (other than the stamp, for which I already provided a link in this post):

The sun die: My Doo Hickey Kit Vol 10 "Buzz buzz" (which is on a VERY good sale price for all those dies included).

Leaves die: Parsley and Rocket Salad die (right now it's unavailable in the Store, but you can ask Shawn for it)

Lace Mathilde (20 mm) - the one at the bottom of the image

Treasure Chest charm

(Other dies used in this card include Sizzix (tag die) and Nellie Snellen dies)

Let me point out to you that now at MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS you can also find Maja 6x6, Lemoncraft and Pion Papers, Foamiran (so many beautiful colours to choose from!) and all you need to do beautiful flowers for every occasion: Rosy Owl dies, stamens, centres etc... among so many more beautiful products... Take a look!!

These are the mini tags I inserted at the side of my card, for that soft touch. I also embellished with some rhinestones, pearls, lace and washi tape. They are distressed with Faded Jeans ink.

"You are my sunshine!" ☺ the gorgeous sun die, which I think captures the eye and gives dimension.

I hope you liked the card and that you got inspired to try these products yourself... come'on! Admit that you "need" them!! :)

Mo's DT Blog Hop - A special Surprise Hop for Mo's Birthday!

Hi everyone!!!

Today we are doing a Surprise Birthday Blog hop in honour of Mo's Birthday 🎉  to wish her the very best.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mo!!!!!

The image we are featuring today is Mo's favourite: "Look, Ma!", the boy version, and you can find this digital stamp on mo's Store HERE .

If you are following the hop's order, you should have arrived from Julie's Blog  If you just happened to visit me first, you can start from the beginning of the hop from Debby's Blog .

Now about the card...

Seeing that this particular image is done with the pencil technique, I decided to do some free hand doodling myself, adding a "scene" behind the image. To colour my scene, I used watercolour pencils, to add a safe road where this little cute kiddo can learn to ride his bike without the training wheels :)

I used some Maja "Life by the Sea" papers, as some of the papers are awesome for male cards, with  the blue shades and patterns. I also paper pieced the boy's zip up with one of the papers as well.

But as you can see, I let the stamp take the main focus, adding only some ribbon, and some stars to the card. I hope that you like it, and that you continue to hop around, seeing what my amazing Dream Team mates have created with this cutie!

The sentiment was a free digi from Create with TLC... I immediately wanted to pair it with this stamp.
To continue hopping, you can now go to Kaly's Blog, I am sure that she also has a wonderful creation to share with you :)

Since you can't have a hop without prizes and because its a Birthday hop we have 3 prizes of $5 so you can buy Mo's Favourite image too.
To be in with a chance to win all you have to do comment on the team's Blog Hop post as you

Ragged Winnie

Hello everyone!!

Just a quickie post today to let you know that it's time for another Mo's Digital Pencil challenge :)
And for some inspiration and encouragement for you to participate, I decided to make a Christmas tag today!

💚💚💚

This tag features the awesome stamp Ragged Winnie, and I used the pre-coloured version, available HERE to show you how awesome it looks. It is fab if you are in a hurry to complete a card, tag or anything for that special person. In fact Mo has two versions of this one: a pre-coloured and a normal outlined stamp for you to colour or paper-piece according to your liking.

                                                                         ðŸ’šðŸ’šðŸ’š

                                                                   ðŸ’šðŸ’šðŸ’š

I created the snow effect using Gesso. I left it as raw as I could, to make it a bit natural looking, giving the snow a small amount of diamond sparkle with Stickles.

Oh how I wish we had some cool and refreshing wind these days here in Malta. Some fun fact about this small island in the heart of the Mediterranean - it NEVER snows here!!! :)  For some it might be good news, but I do wish it does sometimes. We get only hail. Bye for now xxx

Heavenly Tilda - Lollipop Card

Hi awesome crafters and friends!!

It's first Tuesday of the month, and that means that it is time for another Magnolia-licious Challenge #11 which is another "Anything Goes" challenge (with the option of Bows).

This time I did my first lollipop card, and I can say that it was really fun! I wanted to try this for some months now, and wanting to use my cute Heavenly Tilda stamp, which you can find HERE, I decided to give it a go.

I colored her with Distress reinkers on Langton watercolour paper, and teamed it with Maja Sofiero paper (Exuberence of flowers in bloom)  and another single 12x12 paper which I had in my stash. I used this paper to make the rosette in the back of my card.

I did the flowers (using punches) and the die-cut hearts from the same Maja paper and added some cute and romantic embellishments here and there, without overdoing it. I just love how it turned out.

You can see the subtle hint of sparkle which I did with some Stickles, isn't she cute? I just love these "small" stamps, and they are quite easy to colour.

Supplies I used for this card:

Stamp: Magnolia
Papers: Maja Design Sofiero and another paper
Other supplies: Distress Reinkers, paper doily, pink ribbon, string of pearls and white ribbon flowers, small pink clothespin, Stickles, flat back pearls, patterned drinking straw

I hope that you join in the fun at Magnolia-licious challenge blog, and you'll be in a chance to win not only a $20 Gift certificate to spend at the store, but also to be our next Guest Designer. Why don't you pop in there and check out the cute DT makes that were prepared to inspire you to share with us your talent? I wish you all a wonderful week!
